Professor Pawan Sinha and Research Associate Matt Groth discuss brain plasticity and its potential to improve learning effectiveness. Previously assumed to diminish in early childhood, Sinha and Groth posit that plasticity can actually be re-kindled and used effectively in online learning by inserting novelty videos in instructional videos.

The 15 minute video above reviews previous research on brain plasticity and outlines the research methodologies used in Sinha's lab as well as their initial results, which show promise for learning in higher education.
