Biography

Isaac Chuang is a professor of Physics and a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. He is deeply involved in developing new methods for teaching and learning, as the associate director of MIT's Office of Digital Learning, as a core developer of the edX platform, and as a researcher in online education.

Professor Chuang received a B.S. in electrical engineering and physics and an M.S. in electrical engineering, both from MIT. He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and was a postdoctoral fellow at both the University of California at Berkeley and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
