The MIT Integrated Learning Initiative (MITili) funds, connects, and shares research investigating learning effectiveness. The research ranges from the microscopic — using brain scanning technology to understand how different learning approaches affect connections within the brain — to the very large — assessing implications of policy decisions on student outcomes.  Studies address questions at the learner, instruction, and policy level across three broad demographics: birth through pK-12, higher education, and workforce learning.
