Biography

Dr. Egzona Morina is a postdoctoral associate and teaching fellow in the Biology Department, as well as a member of the Open Learning Digital Learning Lab. She earned her PhD in neuroscience from University College London (UCL), focusing on a novel behavioral paradigm for examining anticipatory postural adjustments in mice. Before her doctorate, Dr. Morina completed her master's in neuroscience and education at Columbia University. She is also the founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing STEM education in Kosovo, her home country. In her role at the Digital Learning Lab, Dr. Morina aims to enhance her skills in creating and managing professional digital courses, and to contribute to the field of digital learning research.
