Join us for a panel discussion on what it means to re-think student assessment in a course. Learn how colleagues assess student learning and what digital technologies support their approach:

  • Ed Bertschinger, Professor of Physics and Affiliated Faculty, Program in Women’s and Gender Studies, will share his experience with a “choose your own adventure” grading scheme in WGS.160.
  • Laura Frawley, Lecturer/Teaching and Curriculum Development Specialist in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, will share how she uses more frequent quizzes, concept maps, and a final written assessment in 9.00/9.01.

Residential Education staff will be available to share technical and pedagogical practices to assess and better support student learning. Attendees are welcome to participate in Q&A, and share their experience.
